The CNB Equality Commission has been created with the aim of promoting gender equality in the academic and research environment, and to ensure that in our center the principle of equal opportunities is respected without any discrimination due to gender, race, ideology or sexual orientation.

Gender policy at the CNB is in accordance with the recommendations of CSIC Women and Science Committee and follows the recommendations of the II Gender Equality Plan (2020) and Annex.
The CNB equality comission belongs to the UAM+CSIC Intercentre Equality Comission, that is formed by 10 research institutes based and/or related to UAM: CBMSO, CIAL, ICMAT, ICMM, ICP, ICV, IFT, IIB, IMN working together to promote gender equality in research.
