RESEARCH PLATFORMS
The CryoEM CNB-CSIC facility is a state-of-the-art core facility offering several services: sample preparation, CryoEM image acquisition of unstained biological material for cryoEM single particle or cryoET, cryoCLEM and cryoED.
The facility supports not only the Spanish community (32 groups being served during 2023), but also a numerous international one (18 groups from 10 different countries, again in 2023), mostly through its membership of Instruct-ERIC. The expertise and prestige of the facility can also be measured by the courses organized by its members and the number of scientists spending some time at the facility to learn different techniques (9 scientist of 6 different countries in 2023).
