Strategic Plan

Every four years, the CNB must submit a four-year strategic plan to the CSIC presidency for evaluation and approval. This plan includes a SWOT analysis of the centre, prioritising the lines of research, investment in scientific infrastructure, the recruitment of scientific and support staff. It also contemplates any other aspect related to the efficient distribution of resources and actions that ensure the efficiency, excellence and international competitiveness of the CNB. The strategic plan is prepared by the CNB management and must be approved by the CNB Board.

The Scientific Strategy and Management Unit is aligned with the scientific direction and the strategic plan and works collaboratively with the management and project management departments.
